Many students ask us, "What is the purpose of the questionnaire?".

Our response:

The questionnaire is an opportunity for you to clarify, for yourself, the reasons you are considering taking a Gap Year and whether a Gap Year is the right choice for you. We believe the more a student understands about WHY they want to take the year off from school and WHAT they want to accomplish during that year the more valuable the experience will be for them.

At Seize the Year, the completed questionnaire is the point we use to mark beginning of this process.  By carefully considering the questions and responding in a thoughtful and meaningful way, students commit themselves to their future.  And we at Seize the Year commit to creating a plan and developing implementation strategies to insure a meaningful and transformative experience during their Gap Year.
